World Bowls has recently provided support to bowlers in the Cook Islands through the donation of mats and jacks.

International Technical Officer John Roberts presented the equipment to members of Rarotonga Bowls Club during a recent visit to the islands.

In addition to delivering the equipment, Roberts spent time with the Cook Islands squad, sharing his knowledge and experience in a valuable training session.

Anna Kairua, Secretary of Cook Island Bowls, thanked World Bowls for the donation.

“On behalf of Cook Island Bowls, we would like to sincerely thank World Bowls for the mats and jacks that were kindly delivered to us,” she said.

“They have been very well received and are greatly appreciated.”

Kairua also acknowledged Roberts for taking the time to work with the squad.

“The session was very valuable, and the team thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to learn from him. It was a pleasure meeting John, and we truly appreciated the time he spent with our team during his visit.”
