World Bowls staged its first ever Pro-Am night at cluBarham, heralding the start of the 2025 World Bowls Champion of Champions.

The unique event gave cluBarham members a once-in-a-lifetime chance to step onto the green alongside some of the world’s best bowlers. Teams took part in a two-wood triples contest, creating a fun and competitive atmosphere ahead of the week-long championship.

The Pro-Am was followed by the official opening ceremony, which was attended by local dignitaries and club officials, marking the formal beginning of the 2025 event.

This new initiative not only connected international players with the local bowls community but also showcased the spirit of the Champion of Champions — bringing people together through the sport.
