The top 16 women’s singles finalists include stand-outs Nurul Alyani Jamil (Malaysia), Katelyn Inch (New Zealand), Kirsty Hembrow (England) and Julie Forrest (Scotland), who all go through undefeated.
World Bowls CEO Neil Dalrymple was very happy with the quality and presentation of the 2023 World Indoor Championship and said, “this event will culminate in an exciting 2 days of final matches at the Warilla Bowls and Recreation Club on Thursday and Friday this week.
A very strong field of players from a diverse range of Member Nations have participated in this year’s event, and it is very pleasing to see the continual improvement of some of the smaller bowling nations”.
Dalrymple expects to see a highly competitive 2 days of bowls, stating, “picking a winner in all disciplines (Mixed Pairs, Women’s singles and Men’s singles) is really tough with many strong chances to win a World title.”
Congratulations to all participating nations on their efforts to make the finals.
