The World Bowls CEO Neil Dalrymple acknowledged the recent resignation of Bowls Scotland CEO Alan McMillan and thanked him for his service to Bowls in Scotland, Bowls Europe and for his support of World Bowls,

He leaves a very strong legacy for Bowls in Scotland – a world class High Performance program and terrific performances at benchmark events, a contemporary governance and staffing structure, a strong advocate for the benefits that Bowls provides to an individual’s health and well-being and a commitment to sustainability issues and how Bowls can contribute to a better planet. I wish Alan well for the future and thank him for what has been a significant commitment and contribution to the betterment of Bowls.”
