Rules

|
The basic Rules are fairly straight forward. For most players who are not playing in competitions the playing rules are summarised as follows. For competition rules in the UK refer to the rules on the BTBA web site. Each player plays in turn in the same sequence throughout each game. When delivering the ball they must not cross the foul line. Once the ball passes the foul line it is deemed to have been delivered, whether accidentally or deliberately released. There must be ten pins positioned on their spots before a player delivers their first ball. Balls must be delivered in such a way that they do not damage the surface of the lane. Also see Scoring. Clothing - The main clothing rule relates to the shoes that are worn. Shoes must not mark or damage the lane flooring. |
